Are poinsettias poisonous?
Poinsettias are not poisonous!! Many studies have been done disproving the old wives' tale that poinsettias are poisonous. In fact one study showed that 500 leaves ingested by a fifty pound child would produce no toxicity. Obviously like all ornamental plants, poinsettias are not intended for human consumption, but studies prove that they are not poisonous.
How big are the plants?
Since each plant varies, we can only give you the average size.
- The 6.5” pots hold one plant which is 15-19” tall by 15-17” wide.
- The 8” pots hold three plants which total to be 21” tall by 20+” wide
